OWNING YOUR CHOICE

What path have you chosen for yourself this year?

What sacrifices would you have to make to make your dreams a reality..

It all starts with that decision, the choice of making a difference. You don't have to invent the biggest tower to feel optimistic..it all starts with one big choice.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.

Looking back through last year and goals I accomplished, I felt a sense of appreciation for myself .
Reminiscing on the hardworking and long hours of dedication to do a lot such as publishing three ebooks, organising a poetry class, teaching on self development, studying different languages, connecting with people, attending online webinars on business, etc.

There were times I didn't want to persist but I kept a word in mind."Whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well" .
I learnt to trust the process rather than looking for short term gratification.

I want us all to apply this to our daily lives, tasks and our approaches to difficult matters .

You need to own your decisions, no one will make them for you. We are all caught up in reasonable distractions but that shouldn't stop us from achieving our goals and guess what??

You don't need to have it all figured out.. begin with the little idea in your mind.

I've come to a point in my life where Im beginning to have a clearer picture of who I want to become.. trust me it wasn't clear at the beginning.

I tested several things, realized my strength, weaknesses and I'm still discovering myself .
It takes time and effort to make things work..
Don't late the fear of failure stop you from starting a new adventure.
It all begins with a choice!

Make it happen for your self! Be among the unique 1%.

I hope this words help to motivate you and make you realize that it's about time to proceed to getting it right.

Let's begin the year in the grand style of Knowledge acquisition and trying out new things .
Make sure to leave a comment and share with friends. You're helping to spread the light.

Happy New year

LITTLE CHERISHED MEMORIES

Hello Activers, How has the past week been? Beautiful hasn’t it? Leave a comment below. Its been a couple of days since we conversed don’t you think? I think its totally unfair on my part. So let me start throwing the card by asking What Is the most meaningful lesson you’ve learnt while growing up? When I was a lot younger I was thought a lot of things in diverse ways. Some of the experiences and development I though was unreasonable later turned out to shaping some of my positive values. Lol I’m not talking about having to be called repeatedly by parents for less important  tasks. I’m saying things we hated more during childhood e.g discipline , orderliness, distinguishing right and wrongs. To be fair, sometimes I still wanna be non-chalant about some things, we all have been there. There are some things I wish I didn’t pay attention to or know about. As a child , I matured faster than my peers/friends. It was harder to overlook certain things and not be overly c...

HOW TO BE CONSISTENT

Have you ever had that awesome idea that is world changing, then you begin to implement it but after a while, you get tired and stop pursuing? Not to worry because we all struggle with being consistent from time to time. It's hard to be consistent  because we tend to focus on the outcome more than the process . Put another way, we're more drawn to the positive feelings of outcomes rather than the struggle of the journey. Most of us quit during the struggle before we can experience the rewards of staying the course. YOU ARE FOCUSED MORE ON THE OUTCOME THAN THE PROCESS When we initially visualize an idea, there is this rush of enthusiasm and will to begin. But few months in, we begin to face difficulties that we never expected to come across. The journey becomes tiring and complex. This makes majority of turn back without understanding that we have to face some challenges to move forward in life. THE BIG QUESTION                   ...
