LITTLE CHERISHED MEMORIES

Hello Activers,

How has the past week been? Beautiful hasn’t it?

Leave a comment below.

Its been a couple of days since we conversed don’t you think?

I think its totally unfair on my part. So let me start throwing the card by asking

What Is the most meaningful lesson you’ve learnt while growing up?

When I was a lot younger I was thought a lot of things in diverse ways. Some of the experiences and development I though was unreasonable later turned out to shaping some of my positive values.

Lol I’m not talking about having to be called repeatedly by parents for less

important tasks. I’m saying things we hated more during childhood e.g discipline , orderliness, distinguishing right and wrongs.

To be fair, sometimes I still wanna be non-chalant about some things, we all have been there. There are some things I wish I didn’t pay attention to or know about. As a child , I matured faster than my peers/friends. It was harder to overlook certain things and not be overly curious. Being inquisitive is good as it also has its own perks .

I did go through depression and anxiety issues at an early point in my life, maybe cause of some experiences or me overthinking things. Regardless I’m still grateful for what I’ve learnt and accomplished in life and the image and words i've learnt from.

Here’s my point!

We all have our stories, what makes it more interesting is the little moments of joy , sadness and experiences intertwined like a song lyrics. That one of the things that makes us different. We are unique in perspective, experiences and life journeys.

Take a moment to reflect on your childhood memories, both good and bad experiences . isn’t it a reason to have a smile on your face?

I bet you’re smiling right now. Come on! Even if it’s a little smirk

Lol that’s more like it.

Do you know why you smile, the memories are what keeps us going. Remembering we were once at a phase in our lives where we thought as little ones, displayed naughty tantrums to get a candy but now you have to deal with your tantrums to buy yourself a new candy. looking back at those wishes ,quotes and year after year, moving into a different phase in life is such a blessing.

So whenever you feel lightheaded or irrational, take a pause to reflect on those little cherished memories inside you’re heart, and trust me you’ll be grateful  for how far you’ve moved.

So, you ask me

WHAT IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL LESSON I’VE LEARNT WHILE GROWNING UP?

It is to ‘CHERISH THE LITTLE THINGS, BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES LIES WITHIN THEM’

Me having to share these rush of emotions with you is one of the beautiful little memories to be held in my heart..

WHAT IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL LESSON YOU’VE LEARNT WHILE GREOWING UP?

Don’t forget to leave your quote in the comments section and share this with someone you care about.

HOW TO BE CONSISTENT

Have you ever had that awesome idea that is world changing, then you begin to implement it but after a while, you get tired and stop pursuing? Not to worry because we all struggle with being consistent from time to time. It's hard to be consistent  because we tend to focus on the outcome more than the process . Put another way, we're more drawn to the positive feelings of outcomes rather than the struggle of the journey. Most of us quit during the struggle before we can experience the rewards of staying the course. YOU ARE FOCUSED MORE ON THE OUTCOME THAN THE PROCESS When we initially visualize an idea, there is this rush of enthusiasm and will to begin. But few months in, we begin to face difficulties that we never expected to come across. The journey becomes tiring and complex. This makes majority of turn back without understanding that we have to face some challenges to move forward in life. THE BIG QUESTION                   ...
