HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR DAY

Do you find it hard to make out plans for your day or even accomplish it?
Do you  determine your day or does it determines you?
Not to worry, I've put put together a few helpful tips to help you make the best of your day.

Before we begin, do well to understand that these tips are flexible and don't necessarily have to be followed in order. Just make sure to have fun with whatever you set out to do.

Also this might not work for everyone so you should try to find or adjust this to what would help you be more productive.

Why do we most times have our days determine us?
I mean it's okay to take few chilling days off but we all, most times have issues with being accountable for our day.
So I'll teach you a simple trick

The reason why we relax so much is because we feel we have twenty-four hours. And that looks regular, normal and not exciting..I bet most of us don't even time some crucial activities we do.
We literally spend hours on social media doing close to nothing.
Now I need you to change your perspective of how you see time now..
So here it is;
24 hours is equivalent to 1,440 minutes.
Meaning you have 1,440 minutes to yourself in a day.

Isn't it a privilege to have that much minutes to mould yourself into what you want?

So next time you spend crucial work time relaxing, I want you to ask yourself
Is this time elapsing productive enough?
Does it worth wasting?

Cause truth be told , yes we may not have the same lives, but we all have 1,440 minutes in a day..so if youre aiming high and want to impact this world , a little youthful strain on the body and mental activity shouldn't be a problem right??
Now I'd like to teach you another common technique most of us might be aware of .

The 80 /20 rule is one of the most helpful concepts for life and time management.

Also known as the Pareto Principle, this rule suggests that 20 percent of your activities will account for 80 percent of your results.

This being the case, you should change the way you set goals forever.

Pick out what you want to do for the day eg 10 planned out schedule  .
Now focus on the few most important things and out more attention to them.
This would help you have a more productive day.

Most times I usually have a lot to do for a day so this principle helps me achieve more than average satisfaction.

The third tip is
The Pomodoro technique.

What Is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management system that encourages people to work with the time they have—rather than against it.
Using this method, you break your workday into 25-minute chunks separated by five-minute breaks.

These intervals are referred to as pomodoros. After about four pomodoros, you take a longer break of about 15 to 20 minutes.

These three tips above if used strategically, would help guarantee a better use of time.

Most times I spice up my pomodora principle by working for an hour and having about 20 minutes break.

This dosent work for everyone, it's a personal technique I find useful as I could work for hours without taking long breaks.

I usually have my day planned out/scheduled for better use of my  1,440 minutes. Of course sometimes I slack behind, but I make sure to achieve as much as I can . My sleeping time is usually 2am due to my schedules but as I said earlier, find your regimen.

Wake up early if you have to , dance and stroll if you please, listen to music or scroll at mood elevating pictures in between, etc.

Just make sure to make your schedule flexible and interesting.
Put these tips to practice for a week and you'll get promising resuts.

Sip your coffee and have a wonderful day.

HOW TO BE CONSISTENT

Have you ever had that awesome idea that is world changing, then you begin to implement it but after a while, you get tired and stop pursuing? Not to worry because we all struggle with being consistent from time to time. It's hard to be consistent  because we tend to focus on the outcome more than the process . Put another way, we're more drawn to the positive feelings of outcomes rather than the struggle of the journey. Most of us quit during the struggle before we can experience the rewards of staying the course. YOU ARE FOCUSED MORE ON THE OUTCOME THAN THE PROCESS When we initially visualize an idea, there is this rush of enthusiasm and will to begin. But few months in, we begin to face difficulties that we never expected to come across. The journey becomes tiring and complex. This makes majority of turn back without understanding that we have to face some challenges to move forward in life. THE BIG QUESTION                   ...

LITTLE CHERISHED MEMORIES

Hello Activers, How has the past week been? Beautiful hasn’t it? Leave a comment below. Its been a couple of days since we conversed don’t you think? I think its totally unfair on my part. So let me start throwing the card by asking What Is the most meaningful lesson you’ve learnt while growing up? When I was a lot younger I was thought a lot of things in diverse ways. Some of the experiences and development I though was unreasonable later turned out to shaping some of my positive values. Lol I’m not talking about having to be called repeatedly by parents for less important  tasks. I’m saying things we hated more during childhood e.g discipline , orderliness, distinguishing right and wrongs. To be fair, sometimes I still wanna be non-chalant about some things, we all have been there. There are some things I wish I didn’t pay attention to or know about. As a child , I matured faster than my peers/friends. It was harder to overlook certain things and not be overly c...
